Gut Oggau
Winifred Rosé 2021
Don’t mistake Winifred for your usual rosé. She has a vineyard of Blaufrankisch and Zewigelt all to herself—no saignée from a red wine here. Aged in oak to concentrate the flavors and aromas, you get drawn in by red berries, refreshing acidity, and a tinge of barnyard before you’re hit by intense minerality. Gets even better as it breathes!

Gut Oggau
Stephanie and Eduard Tscheppe-Eselböck bought an old, abandoned 17th century vineyard in Burgenland, Austria in 2007. Instead of trying to change the winery, they discovered its natural potential. Each Gut Oggau bottle is distinct, world-class, and full of personality.

Behind the Bottle
After Stephanie and Eduard produced their first vintage, they were surprised by how much personality came through each barrel — and so the Gut Oggau wine family was born. Each bottle features a portrait of a fictional family member, communicating the differences in terroir through the portraits on the labels. Today, Gut Oggau is perhaps the most prolific and recognizable natural winery in the world.
