Radikon
Vino Bianco I.G.T Bianco Venezia Giulia 2021 Slatnik
The long skin contact on this wine gives it a super concentrated aroma with notes of ripe jackfruit and yellow florals with a distinctly saline finish. Medium plus body with medium tannins and mild acidity, this is definitely a “serious” orange wine that’s been a cult favorite around the world for many years.

Behind the Bottle
Saša follows his father’s approach. The vineyard is situated in Oslavia, Friuli Venezia Giulia, Italy. A part of Italy that is right on the Slovenian border. Members of the Radkon family have called this little piece of land on the sloping hillside of Oslavia home since 1861. The family worked the land as farmers, with food crops, livestock, and, of course, making wine, but not in any serious way for generations before Stanko Radikon bottled his first vintage in 1979.
