VDF Les Larmes de Damas 2021
A slow burn type of love, this wine needs time to breathe. With an initial aroma of cured meat, it slowly transforms in the glass to pomegranate and rose hips. Made with Pinot Noir and a couple of other obscure grapes, this red wine is silky, lacey, and highly perfumed with pink florals. Fermented with indigenous yeasts, made with 3 days of carbonic maceration in tanks, and aged in fiberglass. Only 650 bottles of this incredible wine were produced.

Behind the Bottle
They evolve in an “eco-lieu” surounded by 450 ha of forest. Everything is done by hand, from harvest to labelling, in a perfect ecosphere. Vinification is made with indigenous yeast at room temperature from vines of hills in agroforestry. Bees forage in a protected natural park while the wine ferments quietly in the cellar. Super low intervention wines, nothing added.
