Le Coste
Vino Rosato Biologico 2019
Another glass of juice from Lazio with some refinement and joie de vivre. Made from Aleatico vines grown on volcanic soil, the grapes see skin contact for only a couple of hours. The juice is aged in wooden barrels for a year then aged for 6 months in the bottle. A true rosé equally at place at a fundraiser for the East Hampton yacht club, the beaches of El Nido, or in your hands as you drink straight from the bottle wondering why you’re still single at 30.

Behind the Bottle
Gianmarco and Clementine have farmed about 14 hectares of volcanic soils, rich in iron and minerals, near Lake Bolsena in Lazio, Italy since 2004. Today, the farm is tended with only the most natural and biodynamic ethos with olive groves, chestnut trees, and oak trees interspersed among ancient indigenous grapes.
Nothing is added at any stage, except for a minimal amount of sulfites in certain bottles, with spontaneous fermentation and aging occurring in steel, wood, and concrete.
