Le Coste
Pizzicante Rosso 2018
One of our more ‘fun’ wines, this sparkling wine is somewhere between a red and a true rosé spending 1 week macerating on the skins before being aged in stainless steel. Light tannins with a prickly, snappy texture, some red berries, dark berries, and a short finish. Meant to be shared with your barkada or enjoyed alone while you watch Schitts Creek in your fancy pambahays.

Behind the Bottle
Gianmarco and Clementine have farmed about 14 hectares of volcanic soils, rich in iron and minerals, near Lake Bolsena in Lazio, Italy since 2004. Today, the farm is tended with only the most natural and biodynamic ethos with olive groves, chestnut trees, and oak trees interspersed among ancient indigenous grapes.
Nothing is added at any stage, except for a minimal amount of sulfites in certain bottles, with spontaneous fermentation and aging occurring in steel, wood, and concrete.
