No word comes closer to encapsulating this bombshell of a wine than “explosive”—apt, given that it’s named after the father of anarchism himself. Grenache Blanc and Sauvignon Blanc from the Languedoc’s Pézenas see “longer than usual” skin contact (about 40 days) and are aged in oak foudres for around 11 months. Amber in color, with a medium rich body, and supremely aromatic bouquet. Light smokey notes with an unusual amount of fruity freshness, and a distinct incendiary personality.
Grape Variety: Grenache Blanc, Sauvignon Blanc
Region: Languedoc, France
Tastes like: Candied ginger, burnt rosemary, overripe mango, fruit cocktail juice
Best with: Smoked chicken, grilled shrimp, Cebu-style lechon
Size: 750 ml
Alc Content: 12%

La Sorga
One of the most emblematic natural winemakers in the Post-Millenial era, Anthony Tortul started Domaine La Sorga in the Languedoc in 2008. After learning winemaking in different vineyards in the south of France for 6 years, he decided to set up his own négociant business, selecting exceptional and isolated terroirs in Southern France.

Behind the Bottle
Working only with organic and biodynamic growers, he meticulously crafts his zero-zero wines in the Languedoc. In 2013, he bought a few small vines of his own free of pesticides and chemicals. He continues to craft his lively natural wines with an uncontainable energy.
