A (Super)star of Burgenland, Austria, 4th generation winemaker Christian Tschida’s biodynamic and organic vines sit on sandy gravel and limestone. His juicy, elegant, world-class wines have found themselves in the best restaurants and wine bars from New York to London, and now, Manila.

Behind the Bottle

Obsessive about his vines and soil, Tschida promotes other plant life and animal life in his vineyards so as not to upset the elegant balance and terroir that he has become internationally recognized for. Using his vertical basket press that extracts only the best juice from his grapes, he ferments spontaneously at ambient temperature in large wooden barrels with long aging periods. Bottles are always unfiltered and unfined.
