Made from the grapes of a recently-acquired vineyard converting to biodynamic, this rosé blend of Blaufrankisch and Zweigelt by Gut Oggau still hasn’t found itself: until they’re ready to join the family, their identity is a secret. We do know this, though: it’s pure fun and fizz, light and off-dry with a snap of acidity, and a unique texture that hints at more substance with every sip—only for you to find the bottle suddenly empty!

Gut Oggau
Stephanie and Eduard Tscheppe-Eselböck bought an old, abandoned 17th century vineyard in Burgenland, Austria in 2007. Instead of trying to change the winery, they discovered its natural potential. Each Gut Oggau bottle is distinct, world-class, and full of personality.

Behind the Bottle
After Stephanie and Eduard produced their first vintage, they were surprised by how much personality came through each barrel — and so the Gut Oggau wine family was born. Each bottle features a portrait of a fictional family member, communicating the differences in terroir through the portraits on the labels. Today, Gut Oggau is perhaps the most prolific and recognizable natural winery in the world.
