Château Meylet
It’s rare that we find natural wines from big, historic wine regions in France like Bordeaux, but Château Meylet has been in the Favard family since 1875, and they’ve been making natural wine since before natural wine was a thing. Experimental and adaptive in their winemaking, the Favard’s are truly one of a kind in an exceptionally conservative region.

Behind the Bottle
Nestled in the middle of Saint-Emilion, Bordeaux, this small 3 hectare property has not seen any chemical treatment of any kind since its founding in 1875. Today, David runs the winery under the watchful eye of his dad Michel, preferring to watch, listen, and evolve alongside his vines and vintages while showing respect to the land of his ancestors and its terroir.
