Le Coste
Litrozzo Rosato Biologico 2020
Good thing this juicy (and bonkers) rosé comes in a liter-sized bottle: it’s among the top 2% of wines in the world, according to Vivino! This almost-red by the iconic Le Coste is a gently macerated blend of ancient local varieties—too complex to put into a box with its more vegetal notes, but all too easy to keep drinking with its refreshing acidity and fruit candy vibes.

Behind the Bottle
Gianmarco and Clementine have farmed about 14 hectares of volcanic soils, rich in iron and minerals, near Lake Bolsena in Lazio, Italy since 2004. Today, the farm is tended with only the most natural and biodynamic ethos with olive groves, chestnut trees, and oak trees interspersed among ancient indigenous grapes.
Nothing is added at any stage, except for a minimal amount of sulfites in certain bottles, with spontaneous fermentation and aging occurring in steel, wood, and concrete.
