This one’s for the girls—literally, with a name translating to just that. This playful wine by power couple Gianmarco Antonuzi and Clementine Bouveron is as fresh as a red gets, with 100% Aleatico harvested early into the season and undergoing carbonic maceration. Pour it into a glass, and it unfolds like a bouquet of roses: refreshing acidity, medium tannins, and lots of juiciness to go around. Let it breathe, and it’ll keep evolving!

Behind the Bottle
Gianmarco and Clementine have farmed about 14 hectares of volcanic soils, rich in iron and minerals, near Lake Bolsena in Lazio, Italy since 2004. Today, the farm is tended with only the most natural and biodynamic ethos with olive groves, chestnut trees, and oak trees interspersed among ancient indigenous grapes.
Nothing is added at any stage, except for a minimal amount of sulfites in certain bottles, with spontaneous fermentation and aging occurring in steel, wood, and concrete.
