Milan Nestarec
Juicy Fruit 2017
This wine is aptly named— pretty darn juicy and pretty darn fruity. 5 day skin contact with the grapes fermented separately, then blended and aged in large oak barrels. With notes of citrus, tropical fruit, and white fruit this wine is a joy to drink. Aromatic, tart, and easy to drink, it just goes to show that wine is not something that you have to think too hard about to enjoy.

Behind the Bottle
Somewhat of a prodigy, Milan Nestarec has been entrusted with all the winemaking of his family’s estate in Moravia, Czech Republic since he was 16 years old. Nestarec converted the estate to organic philosophies in 2008, which now produces a prolific number of bottles a year on its 24 hectares.
A vocal advocate of field blends, his white or orange wines almost always see a short amount of skin contact. Nestarec has become an icon of the scene with nothing more than skill, spontaneous fermentation, a bunch of tanks and old barrels, grape juice, and time.
