Inspired by the upbeat song of the same name by Bjork, Fruita Analogica’s Big Time Sensuality is all about enjoying life to the fullest. Light, juicy, and easy, it’s surprisingly made of nothing of Cabernet Franc—selected and destemmed by hand, macerated for three days—until you get that signature pepperiness, with plenty of dark berries and vanilla to back it up. This is a wine for intimate conversation, or perhaps a movie that gets you all emotional.

Behind the Bottle
Having been all around the world to make wine under some highly regarded producers (for example Escoda Sanahuja and Tom Shobbrook), the couple finally settled in Alt-Empordà, Spain. After producing their first wines under the Vinyes Tortuga label, in 2020 they purchased a 1960s collective building in Rabós, which became the home of Fruita Analogica - a winery, restaurant, and soon-to-be accommodations as well - making it a destination for natural wine lovers.
