No gimmicks, no magic, and no bullshit. Approachable, zippy, and full of life, Milan Nestarec’s wines are now among the most recognizable bottles of natural wines in the world. Behind the Bottle
Somewhat of a prodigy, Milan Nestarec has been entrusted with all the winemaking of his family’s estate in Moravia, Czech Republic since he was 16 years old. Nestarec converted the estate to organic philosophies in 2008, which now produces a prolific number of bottles a year on its 24 hectares.
A vocal advocate of field blends, his white or orange wines almost always see a short amount of skin contact. Nestarec has become an icon of the scene with nothing more than skill, spontaneous fermentation, a bunch of tanks and old barrels, grape juice, and time.
