Pierre Frick
Gewurztraminer Maceration 2019
This orange wine is made from organically grown Gewurtztraminer and sees skin contact of about 8 days before being aged for 6 months in oak. Oxidized, bold, dry, and complex, the overtly aromatic nose evokes honey, white florals, and ripe white fruits. With a voluminous mouthfeel, medium body, grippy tannins balanced by pronounced acidity, and an intense first taste that seems to linger forever. Equal parts daring, congenial, and snazzy.
