Another Grand Cru from a true pioneer of the natural wine movement is an orange wine made from 100% Gewurtztraminer. The grapes see skin contact of 8 days before being aged in oak for a year. Elegant but bold, suave but assertive, rich but dynamic. Intense aromatics and vibrant acidity balanced by chewy tannins with concentrated notes of white fruit and citrus with a long persistent finish.

With 12 hectares of vineyards scattered around Alsace, and many of them grand cru, he’s brought much justification and clout to the world of natural wine.
